A Friends of Tuckerman event, this recreational pentathlon follows the same format as the Tuckerman Inferno Pentathlon, but finishes at Wildcat Mountain with stunning views of Tuckerman Ravine. Race legs include a 6-mile run, 6-mile kayak, 16-mile bike, 2-mile hike/snowshoe up the Polecat Trail at Wildcat and a 1.5-mile downhill ski. With the purchase of a scenic gondola ticket, join us on a free monthly tour at Wildcat this summer & fall. An Appalachian Mountain Club naturalist will lead an interactive and educational summit tour followed by a guided hike down.
The Wildman Biathlon is a three-part running, bike, uphill run event for teams and individuals. This event is organized by Tri-County Community Action Proram, Inc. and funds raised from this event benefit the Coos County Retired and Senior Volunteer Program.
