Wildcat Weather Forecast
1/20/2025 500am Wildcat Mountain received 4 inches of new snow at the base with more up on the mountain. Todays skiing and riding should be awesome! NOTE: The wind is forecasted to increase throughout the day. Get here early for the best conditions. Our Ski Patrol dropped ropes on a few natural snow trails yesterday and they are skiing/riding really good...Wildcat Style. That means thin cover, ungroomed, natural snow, with natural hazards.  Middle Lynx and Lower Lynx are now open, groomed to perfection and super fun. Our snowmaking crew is working on Lynx Lair and Upper Lynx and will be moving to Middle Catapult next. Woohoo!!! Join us for some awesome skiing/riding, great vibe and the coolest staff around. Today, we plan on opening the Wildcat Summit quad lift, the Bobcat Triple lift and the World Famous Snowbelt from 830am-4pm. Today's trail conditions will be really nice groomed, packed powder and granular snow, perfect for carving and cruising. Note that a few firm areas will develop as the day goes on. The Polecat Trail is now open top to bottom! That's almost 3 miles of Green Circle goodness with amazing views and great cruising and carving. Weather today will include very cold temsp, increasing wind and cloudy skies. Dress in layers, stay hydrated and have an awesome day. For more Green Circle/Novice terrain, ride the Bobcat Triple, go through the tunnel (yes, we have a tunnel) and go ski Wild Kitten. It is awesome. After some fun runs, come on in and grab some food and hot drinks and maybe even grab a cool gift from W Sports, our retail shop. With all that being said, get your skis and boards tuned up, grab your great vibe and I'll see you on the mountain. -Kevin
Operational Notes:
Snowcat Lift Update: Thank you for your patience as we continue to work through this repair. Let’s start with the good news, the part we need has been ordered and should be on its way soon. Our lift maintenance team is ready to begin work the moment this part arrives. The Snowcat lift will remain CLOSED. We’ll share a more definitive timeline for reopening as soon as we’re able. While we focus on repairs, we encourage those who are learning to ski and ride to utilize the Wild Kitten trail via the Bobcat lift or consider visiting our sister resort Attitash for additional progressive learning terrain. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Uphill Access is OPEN. Uphill access is via the Polecat Trail and is allowed outside of our operating hours ONLY. Uphill hours are 4pm-8am so bring your headlight and enjoy the beauty of Wildcat. Please note:. We have equipment, personnel and machinery all over the mountain so PLEASE make yourself visible and give them plenty of space. If you see our flashing signs and winching warnings, turn back. Groomer winching can be very dangerous, In true back country fasion, please respect these rules to help keep it available for all of us. Thanks friends.
