Wildcat Weather Forecast
2/28/2025 530am Wildcat Mountain received 6 inches of new snow at the summit yesterday, so grab your great vibe and get to Wildcat. Today, we will start with over 80% of our legendary terrain open.  New, light snow, packed powder and frozend granular conditions await you on our groomed trails today and they are skiing so good. Carve, cruise and love life. Note that some firm areas will likely develop as the day goes on. Check out Polecat. It's almost 3 miles of groomed, Green Circle goodness. Or...go explore our natural snow trails and tree skiing... Wildcat Style. That means thin cover, ungroomed, natural snow, with natural hazards and they are skiing great. Use caution and have fun. Note: Skiing/riding closed trails may result in a pass suspension, so enjoy the open terrain to it's fullest. Today, we plan on opening the Wildcat Express Summit quad lift, the Tomcat triple lift and the World Famous Snowbelt from 9am-4pm. Weather today will include cloudy skies, cold temps and moderate to strong wind. Dress in layers, stay hydrated and have an awesome day. After some fun runs, come on in for some some food and hot drinks, visit the Wildcat Pub and say hi to the crew, and maybe even grab a cool gift from W Sports, our retail shop. With all that being said, get your skis and boards tuned up, grab your great vibe and I'll see you on the mountain. -Kevin
Operational Notes:
Snowcat Lift Update: Thank you for your patience as we continue to work through this repair. The Snowcat repairs are underway, and we are on track to reopen it for operations soon. You may see it spinning while we run some tests on it. We'll keep you posted with our progress. Â
Uphill Access is OPEN. Uphill access is via the Polecat Trail and is allowed outside of our operating hours ONLY. Uphill hours are 4pm-8am so bring your headlight and enjoy the beauty of Wildcat. Please note:. We have equipment, personnel and machinery all over the mountain so PLEASE make yourself visible and give them plenty of space. If you see our flasing signs and winching warnings, turn back. Groomer winching can be very dangerous. Lastly, our snowmobiles follow thier own track up and down and can be on the mountain at any time, so please avoid skinning on the snowmobile track. In true back country fasion, please respect these rules to help keep it available for all of us. Thanks friends.
